Capturing Moments Through Photography

My goal is to capture the moments in time. These moments are fleeting. They will never be repeated.

I always take several hundred pictures per session.  Unless the subject is a sleeping newborn, emotions can change from one moment to the next.

My favorite pictures are those that tell a story.  It is the picture that leaves the viewer wondering, "What was the subject thinking in this particular shot?" is the one that is worth one thousand words.

This picture was taken during a senior session that I recently did. Her hand and the foreground are a little blurred, but I like that. This shows that this was literally just a moment in time. She had briefly taken off her glasses and was preparing for the next shot. She did not even know that I was taking her picture. This shot was not posed or planned, and yet it is one of my favorites.

Adventure is Out There!

Because Sometimes a Picture is Worth 1,000 Words

A Time to Rejoice

Grandma loves her grand babies.

Double Cowlick. I affectionately referred to it as a "fern".
